SIEM welcomes you all to its campus at the foothills of The Himalayas in Siliguri in the Darjeeling District of West Bengal. Under the aegis of a charitable society Bidya Bharati Foundation, SIEM is dedicated to the cause of Quality education in the field of Engineering & Management in North Bengal. The foundation was established by Late Surendra Agarwal popularly known as the “Iron King of Patna". Named in the memory of Late Surendra Agarwal the institute was inaugurated by Mr. Asok Bhattacharya, the then Minister for MAUD, Govt. of West Bengal & Mr. Sourav Ganguly, the cricketing legend and the son of the land on 8th Nov 2009. The stars of the region have shown the way to be the leader.

The first Academic session started from 3^rd Aug, 2009. The spacious ambience and institutes’ commitment is reflected throughout the campus i.e. Excellent Campus, Modern Classrooms, Latest updated Laboratories, Research & Development environment, Most equipped library, Common facilities like lift, canteen, waiting hall,  Medical centre, hostel for Boys & Girls’ Hostels, Seminar Halls, Conference Hall etc. It lays stress on all round development of students and staff.  SIEM is like a family which gives opportunity for all kinds of growth with positive frame of mind and disciplined culture. In two years of time we have made a mark in our University and have tied up with global giant IBM to train our students apart from our regular curriculum.
